MailChimp makes it easy to send email newsletters to your customers, manage your subscriber lists, and track campaign performance. Unlike some of competing products, they don't "dumb things down." They take extremely powerful tools that sophisticated marketers use (like segmentation, a/b testing, and ROI tracking), and make them accessible to anyone.

The platform uses an open API, it's easy to integrate internal systems (like Salesforce) and web applications (like Magento, Joomla and Drupal) with MailChimps email marketing engine. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now after dumping iContact out of frustration and I couldn't be happier.
